The Leesburg Volunteer Fire Company's primary service area encompasses 58 square miles of Loudoun County, Virginia, the second fastest growing county in the United States. Within our area is Leesburg, Virginia, the second most populous town in Virginia. Covering roughly 12 square miles, Leesburg is home to over 37,000 people and it serves as the county seat for Loudoun. The town is also home to Leesburg Executive Airport, a busy facility that boasts a single 5,500-foot runway. With our area's explosive growth has come a tremendous increase in the need for service from the fire department. To meet the needs of the community, the Leesburg Volunteer Fire Company operates two stations that house 5 pumpers, 2 brush units, 1 ladder truck, 2 command vehicles, a foam trailer and a "canteen".
