Chick-fil-A Military Appreciation

On Wednesday, May 25, members of the LVFC in conjunction with the Leesburg Police Department participated in the Chick-fil-A Military Appreciation Day in Leesburg. As the restaurant served free meals to current and former military members and their families, the U.S. Flag was raised high above the event on the ladder of Truck 620. Highlights of the event included face painting, a moon bounce, balloon animals and a live jazz band.

Members of the LVFC brought Engine 601 and Truck 620 for attendees to enjoy and explore. Also on display was the Leesburg’ Volunteer Fire Company’s oldest piece of apparatus, the antique 1929 Seagrave.
