FF Kurtin gives the supply pumper scenario a try.  The supply line from ER-10 is already on the ground and the hydrant is wrapped.

Engine 1 approaches the hydrant...

FF Kurtin unwraps the hydrant...

and opens the steamer...

With the Humat Valve attached to the Hydrant, he begins to put additional hose in place...

Meanwhile, ER-10 is flowing water fast and furious....will FF Kurtin be able to supply them before they run out of water???

Looks like he made it...the supply line looks charged.

Everything appears to be in place...nice job for a rookie!
